My name is Michelle Moffatt and I’m honoured to have been selected to be the brand ambassador for MasumiHeadwear.
I’m lucky enough to be married to my best friend and to be the mum of 4 beautiful babies. What else do you need to know about me? Well, I work in healthcare, I’m Scottish and, oh yes, I’m as bald as an egg!
I’ve had alopecia areata since 2015. My immune system has attacked my hair follicles and left me without hair. That might make you feel sorry for me but please don’t – since losing my hair, my life has changed for the better. I love the path I’m on.
It’s a privilege to have this opportunity to advise and encourage other people like me to try a new life with Masumi. Please check out my tutorial videos on how to style my favourite collection Yanna and blogs on the site!
Masumi Changed My Life
Until recently I’ve always gone for the completely bald look or worn a wig. However, since I discovered this amazing brand I have been a headwear convert. Masumi Headwear provides comfort, elegance and versatility. Plus, it fits perfectly. wearing it is like having a soft cloud around your head!
The Masumi Headwear mission is, through fashion to help people to look and feel beautiful and to build their confident. Masumi Headwear recognises that and with a verity which they offer, they fulfil that need.
With Masumi Headwear, I can get the look I am after every day. I believe in this brand and it is going to be great to have the opportunity to share my experiences with you.
Michelle’s Favourite Styles
Growing up I was always known as the ginger one. People would always comment on my hair colour and how I “should never cut it.” Suddenly one day at the age of 21 I noticed my first patch of missing hair. Within three weeks I had lost over 70% of my hair to Alopecia. The pain of watching my hair fall away became too much so I chose to shave the remaining of my hair off for charity.
Soon in to my journey I discovered Masumi Headwear. I felt like a weight had been lifted and I suddenly felt my confidence returning. I was becoming me again. Except this time something about me felt more powerful. I was able to find my sense of style again and feel comfortable and beautiful at the same time.I am honoured to have been chosen to be the Masumi Champions ambassador as I am truly passionate about the brand and its mission to show that hair loss doesn’t mean a loss of style.
Along with Masumi I hope I can make those living with hair loss feel a little more beautiful, confident and a whole lot more powerful! Hope this is all good!
